Step 1

Shahi masala  -   Add all the spices listed under "SHAHI MASALA" to a heavy-bottomed pan. Sauté them over medium heat until lightly brown. 

Once cooled, blend until powdered.

Step 2

Prepare Veggies -

 Sauté the veggies over medium heat.

Step 3

Prepare Rice -

Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan. 

Step 4

Assembling Biryani -

Take a handi or a deep dish pan, and drizzle oil or ghee at its base.
